- NEW – Member Services Team Members – The Ottumwa YMCA is seeking a friendly, detailed oriented, organized individual to become an important part of our Member Services Team. Duties will include some clerical responsibilities, promoting sales of memberships and programs. Computer skills are preferred. Must be flexible to work days and some evenings; 20-25 hours a week with an occasional weekend. The successful candidate will receive a FREE YMCA membership with employment. - Maintenance/Janitorial Team Member – The Ottumwa YMCA is seeking a part-time team member for our maintenance and janitorial team. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 to 11:00 pm. Weekend hours vary and alternate, can discuss in interview. Dependability is a required candidate characteristic. - Lifeguard and Swim Lesson Instructor – The Ottumwa YMCA is seeking a part-time Lifeguard and/or Swim Lesson Instructor to help with our summer programs. Current Lifeguard certification and experience preferred, but not necessary. Will provide training upon hire. Pick up an application at the Ottumwa YMCA. - Discovery Lane Teachers Assistant – The Ottumwa YMCA is currently looking for caring and dedicated staff to help in our Discovery Lane Early Childhood program. The successful candidate will be self motivated, have a commitment to excellence and provide a high level of customer service. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a clean background.
