  • Aquatics/Wellness Services Director -  The Ottumwa YMCA is seeking a Full Time Aquatics/Wellness Service Director. Applicant must have a degree in a health related field or 2-3 years of related experience. Must possess great customer service, supervision and computer skills along with the ability to work with all age groups and fitness levels. Requires a flexible schedule including daytime, evening and weekend hours.   • Lifeguard and/or Swim Lesson Instructor - The Ottumwa YMCA is seeking a part-time Lifeguard and/or Swim Lesson Instructor to help with our summer programs. Current Lifeguard certification and experience preferred, but not necessary. Will provide training upon hire. Pick up an application at the Ottumwa YMCA.

 

  • Zumba® Instructor – The Ottumwa YMCA is seeking a part-time Zumba® fitness instructor to teach classes at the Ottumwa YMCA and community. Please contact Kathy at 641-684-6571 x26 or email kathy@ottumwaymca.com

  • Early Childhood Teachers Assistant - The Ottumwa YMCA Discovery Lane Early Learning Center is currently looking for caring and dedicated staff to help assist in early childhood classrooms. The successful candidate will be self motivated, have a commitment to excellence and provide a high level of customer service. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age with a clean background. CPR, First Aid, Mandatory Reporting and Universal Precautions trainings are preferred but not required. Please apply in person at the member services desk in the Ottumwa YMCA.   • Summer Safari Councilor - The Ottumwa YMCA is currently looking for staff for this years 2013 Summer Safari Camp! The successful canidates will be self motivated, have a strong work ethic and want to make a difference in the life of children! Applicants must be at least 16 years of age with a clean background. CPR, First Aid, Mandatory Reporting and Universal Precautions trainings are preferred but not required. We will train the successful canidates. There are approximately 7 positions available for hire so don’t wait to put in your applications!
