I began my studies of health and fitness at the University of Iowa, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training in 2017. After completing these studies, I continued my education at Western Illinois University by serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer and pursuing a master’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Psychology, which I completed in 2020. I moved to Ottumwa in 2021 when I began working as an assistant athletic trainer at Indian Hills Community College. I am currently a certified athletic trainer and am also certified in functional movement screening. While I am primarily accustomed to working with the collegiate student-athlete population, I am interested in assisting anyone who wants to improve physically. My mission is to help my clients achieve their fitness goals, not only by providing direct fitness guidance but also, by educating them on topics like nutrition and physiology so they can better help themselves. I believe it is important to meet clients where they are and to help them improve from any starting point.
