2019 Program Pricing
Member: $25 / Non: $30 per day. All fees are charged on an attendance basis so use camp when you need it and don’t pay for it when you don’t!

The 2019 years program will begin on Monday, June 3rd for all students.
Summer Safari Day Camp is a full day, five days a week program for children Kindergarten through 6 grade. This camp is designed for parents who desire affordable, quality care for their children. Located in the YMCA Youth Zone, campers enjoy all the amenities of an air-conditioned environment with excellent program activities.
Hours
- Camp hours are 5:00am-6:00pm.
- Fees are charged when children attend camp and are due the following week.
- Camp is available Monday through Friday.
Camp Staff
The YMCA employs experienced, caring individuals that demonstrate the ability to work with children. All staff undergoes State of Iowa and FBI national background checks to ensure the safety of every child in our program.
Safety at Camp
- Our staff’s top priority is your child’s safety.
- First aid, CPR, Universal Precautions and YMCA safety training is required for all staff.
- Bus drivers are fully trained, licenced and experienced.
- Y Staff are on the bus to monitor and supervise the children at all times.
Field Trips
An activity fee of $15 will apply to all major field trips list below unless otherwise stated. Activity fees are per child and can be paid at the beginning of the summer for all trips or on a individual basis. Children are not required to attend field trips. The activity fee will include entry to the destination, transportation and sack lunch. If you don’t need daily care but still want your child to participate in enriching, exciting field trips, call us for special field trip pricing! If you need assistance to pay activity fees, thanks to our Annual Campaign fundraising we can help provide a scholarship for students. Please contact the program director about activity fee or program scholarship. Our 2019 field trips will be put out in May, so please stay connected via our facebook page!
