YMCA Rules and Policies

General Policies

  • No weapons or devices/objects that may be used/perceived as weapons tolerated.
  • No possession, use, or being under the influence of alcohol, chemicals, or illegal drugs on the property.
  • No bullying, harassment, threats, or intimidation by words, gestures, or menacing behavior.
  • No physical contact with another person in an angry, aggressive, or threatening way.
  • No causing serious bodily injury to another.
  • No verbal abuse including any insults/attacks on race, gender, sexual orientation, origin, religion, or lifestyle.
  • No sexually explicit conversation/behavior; including sexual contact, consensual or otherwise.
  • No theft, vandalism, or behavior which results in destruction or loss of property.
  • No Abuse of YMCA free Wi-Fi privileges to post, view, download inappropriate/illegal content.
  • No smoking, including vaping and e-cigarettes.
  • As a licensed daycare, we will deny entry to all those who have been or are currently a registered sex offender.

Membership Policies

  • If you are over the age of 15, you must provide a Valid Photo ID to sign up for a membership, purchase a day pass, or otherwise enter the facility. No exceptions.
  • If for any reason, there is an issue with your card or account on file and your payment is not able to collected, you will have 48 hrs to contact us and rectify the payment issue before a $30 service fee is charged. This charge will not be removed if you do not contact us within the 48 hour window.
  • If you wish to cancel your membership, you must notify us at least 10 days before your next draft date, otherwise we will need to charge you for the next month before cancelling.
  • If you wish to cancel a monthly membership within 6 months of starting, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. This fee will not be waived if you are moving.
  • Scholarship memberships must be renewed annually. You should receive a letter in the mail when your renewal date is approaching.
  • Insurance based memberships and Month by Month memberships cannot purchase 24/7 access.
  • Nonmembers seeking to enter the facility by guest pass, day pass, as a spectator, or any other method must be manually screened against the Dru Sjoden National Sex Offender Registry. Members are automatically screened when signed up for a membership. Registered sex offenders will be refused entry and service due to our status as a licensed daycare.

24/7 Policies

  • 24/7 Access is available to all adult members in a membership with 24/7 access, but cannot be used until a wavier is completed.
  • To use our 24/7 door you must purchase a 24/7 card. The first card is $5 and it is $15 to replace them.
  • If there are multiple members going through the 24/7 door, each must take the time to scan their card so we know everyone who is entering the facility after hours.
  • Children are not allowed in the building when we are closed.
  • Members in the building after hours are expected to take care of all equipment they use.
  • 24/7 Violations will involve a verbal warning on first offense, a suspension of privileges until meeting with our Membership/Health and Wellness Director on second offense, and a permanent removal of 24/7 privileges on third offense.

Child Policies

  • Minors are not allowed on any equipment without completing our Youth Fitness Orientation, no exceptions.
  • Minors are not allowed downstairs unless to use the locker rooms to enter the pool.
  • Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times or checked in at our Kids Cove.
  • Failure to follow these rules will lead to removal of the YMCA and suspension of privileges with repeated offenses.

Spectator Policies

  • People wanting to spectate a game must check in at the front desk.
  • Spectators over 15 must show valid Photo ID and fill our Spectator forms to completion. Refusal or inability to do either will result in being unable to spectate.
  • No food or drink is allowed in our basketball court or indoor track. If found you will be asked to take any unpermitted items out or throw them away.
  • Spectators will often watch games on our indoor track above our basketball court. Leaving garbage on the track is not allowed, and if caught, will result in not being able to spectate future games.
  • If you are spectating a game and are accompanied by a child under the age of 10, you must fill out our Child Responsibility Wavier. Failure to do so will mean that the child cannot enter the facility.
